Update: At the August 18 Public Hearing, the Board of Commissioners unanimously voted against selling the land. 

The City of Rehoboth Beach will consider selling a 1,463-square foot area of property on Lake Gerar to a Virginia Avenue property owner. A public hearing on the matter will take place at 2 pm Friday, August 15, at City Hall, after which the Board of Commissioners will consider whether or not to sell the property. The property is valued at $540,000.
